1. Who are you and what do you do ?

2. Why art?
It was not “why”, it was more like “why not”! I have always drawn, sketches, caricatures ….  and recently I realized I could do more, and started experimenting with different techniques.

3. What is your earliest memory of wanting to be an artist?
Actually, I never thought of becoming an artist. It all began when I started to post my pictures on Instagram, and a lot of people around the world found my page and urged me to continue, then I started to take my art more seriously.

4. What are your favorite subject(s)/ media?
I love portraiture, especially working on the features, eyes, lips  …etc. I like to work with watercolour and acrylic, but watercolour is my preferred media to express my feelings. I can mix the power of the subject with the softness of watercolour or vice-versa use the strength of colour with the gentleness of the subject.

5. How do you work and approach your subject?
Usually I try to focus on the facial expression or a particular pose, the watercolour process is always like that; I start to draw the subject in lead pencil, then I paint with watercolour and let my feelings lead my hand and brush, then I finish with black ink and white gel.

6. What are your favorite art work(s), artist(s)?
My favorite artists are Enki Bilal, Agnes Cecile and Ryan Hewett.
