1.Who are you and what do you do?
My name is Lui Krieg.  I have lived in Glastonbury, England for the last 30 years. I’m a musician and Sound Healer and I have created a unique system called the Crystal Sound Activation where I help people to clear and activate their energy field and reconnect them to the original sole purpose. I have two shops here in Glastonbury, one is promoting Crystals and Sacred Sound for health and well-being. The other shop is called Wildwood and it promotes living in harmony with nature and respecting and following the ancient magical ways. I’m also a jewelry designer and have a worldwide reputation for creating magical tools for healers and light workers all around the world. I have been an independent entrepreneur for all my life and have been blessed with many different creative outlets.

As a Sound Healer I am aware of the power off residence and Harmony and I have helped thousands of people over the last 20 years and I believe that Sacred Sound and Music combined with the power of the word can bring about positive change on this our planet earth.

3. What is your earliest memory of wanting to be involved in music?
I was born in Germany, and I have been playing music from early age. The first instrument I learned was the trumpet and I played for many years in a traditional German Folk Music band. My musical journey continued throughout my life and will continue to do so.

4. What are your favourite subject(s) and style(s)?
I like different styles of music however I have been promoting and producing Sacred Sound and meditation music for many years Producing a series of classic meditation and healing CDs. However I grew up with a classic rock music influence and have decided last year to shift my attention towards conscious rock music

5. How do you work and approach a new piece that you are working on?
It starts with me writing or receiving the words ( lyrics ) To a new song , I then meet with my friend and producer Paul Foss and by using a guitar we start to find a melody for this song and put it into verses and choruses. Paul will then create a backing track using his 40 year experience as a musician and producer and I will then record the final vocals on to the backing track.

I went to Tulum, Mexico for three months last winter to prepare myself physically and mentally for the Lui Rocks campaign! One afternoon on the beach I was doing a headstand as part of my yoga practice and as I was standing on my head looking out to the beach I received the words, ” this world is upside down, let us turn it around”. When I sent a picture of me doing a headstand to my producer, Paul Foss, he replied that this is a great idea for a great song that reflects the state of the planet at this moment in time! A new song was born!

6. What are your favourite musician(s), singer(s)?
I take influence from many different sources my favorite rock bands include Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin ,INXS , Jethro Tull, etc. I also love to listen to classical music everything from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart to modern day pianist Ludovico Einaudi.
